The magnifier is equipped with two lenses. Its large lens with 3x magnification provides an overview, the small inset lens with 8x magnification provides great details. Both lenses are made from acrylic and deliver an image which is sharp and rich in detail.
The larger lens is useful for reading or looking at images. The smaller one is ideal for studying smaller objects. A mechanical compass with cardinal points and a graduated dial is built into the handle.
