Some time ago, APM-Telescopes introduced the com-correcting 2.7-fold Barlow calculated by Gerd Düring. This is very popular.
Our customers wanted a second, 2-inch version with a smaller magnification factor. This has taken APM-Telescopes to heart and let the well-known physicist and optics designer Philipp Keller count 1.5 times Barlow.
All of today's knowledge has been incorporated into this new design in order to optimize it. The telecentric design prevents each eyepiece must be adjusted distance optimized, you put the eyepiece in the 2-inch socket and automatically have the optimum distance.
The design was again calculated with a large back focus, so it can be used as a optical glass path corrector with komakorrigierender effect on the binocular approach.
The sufficient measured back focus allows the use of off-axis guider + filter wheel + CCD for photographing with full-format sensor.
- Connection thread: M54 x 0.75 male thread and M48 x 0.75 female thread on the eyepiece / CCD side
- Fully corrected field: 44mm
- Fully illuminated field: 30mm
