The XCAMLITE4K series cameras are the next-generation live-view imaging-systems with 4K resolution (Video) at 30 FPS. It comes with Sony Exmor CMOS sensor with high sensitivity, low dark current and no smear achieved through the adoption of R, G and B primary color mosaic filters. The cameras are suitable for medical examinations as well as for teaching (online teaching, demonstration, academic exchange) or industrial purposes.
A standard C-mount interface ensures maximum compatibility with various microscope systems. The cameras can be used as a stand-alone system without a PC in conjunction with an HDMI monitor or TV (stand-alone system) or streamed live to a PC via USB for image and video recording.
The compatibility leaves nothing to be desired. The camera can be used with Windows, Linux, macOS as well as on mobile devices with iOS and Android. Furthermore, it is compatible with C/C++, C#VB.Net, Python, Java, DirectShow, Twain etc. for individualisation and tuning for reproducible measurement results.
The 8MPB can be connected to a screen both via the HDMI connection for use as a stand-alone system. No PC is necessary. The mouse is connected directly to the camera. In sample image 1 you can see what the user interface of the stand-alone software looks like.
The second connection option is USB. Here the camera is connected to a computer via USB and can be operated via the ToupView software. This user interface can be seen in example image 2.
