The Helios Lightwing HR binoculars satisfy the demanding user. The series offers six models with 32mm and 42mm lenses, some with ED glass for low dispersion with the 42mm lens diameter. The extremely powerful binoculars provide high optical performance for bird watching, hunting and general observation tasks and are therefore worth the money.
The case is made of a light but robust magnesium alloy and has a stylish green rubber coating. All binocular models contain high-quality, phase-corrected BaK-4 prisms coated with dielectric silver. The optics are fully multi-coated with a premium coating with extra high transmission. These special coatings enable a light transmission of more than 90% at the eyepiece!
The images show excellent resolution, contrast, brightness and depth of field as well as natural colors. The field of view is very large with good edge sharpness. The close-up distance reaches two meters.
The lens is waterproof (3 minutes at 1.5 meters water depth) and nitrogen-filled for a clear, fog-free view. The twistable eyecups made of coated metal snap into three positions, making the lens usable for spectacle wearers. The knurled, easy-to-use metal focus wheel allows adjustment from close to infinity in just 1.5 turns.
A connection thread is available for attachment to a tripod. A carrying strap, protective caps for the eyepieces and optics and a soft carrying case are included.
