Inverted microscopes are useful for observing live cells or organisms at the bottom of a large vessel (such as a tissue culture flask). It is thus possible to observe under more natural conditions than on a slide, as is the case with a conventional microscope. The IM-3 series has been designed and engineered to be your ideal solution for fast and reliable routine examinations , featuring the exclusive, state-of-the-art X-LED 8 illumination system. A particularly simple and sophisticated optical design enables stable alignments and smooth and accurate movements . Facing the challenges of the future with confidence, the IM-3 offers premium optical quality and mechanical versatility to expand its use with various accessories. It ensures brightfield and phase contrast observations at the highest level as it is equipped with a set of 3 IOS LWD W-PLAN PH objectives (10x, 20x and 40x). The highly efficient X-LED 8 makes it reliable for all transmitted light observations. It has an 8W LED with a color temperature of 6300K and a lifespan of approximately 50,000 hours. The light intensity is controlled by a wheel on the left side of the frame.
The coaxial coarse and fine focus (stepped; 0.002 mm) has a top stop to prevent contact between sample and objective.
The stage (250x160 mm) can be used with both a glass and a metal inlay with an opening for small-sized samples.
The view of the trinocular microscope head is inclined by 45° and the left eyepiece has a dopter adjustment . The interpupillary distance is individually adjustable within a range of 50-75 mm.
The condenser (NA 0.30; WD 72 mm) can be removed to extend the working distance to 150 mm and offers space for the pre-centered slider with phase contrast rings (4x/10x and 20x/40x).
